What the Orion space capsule will go through during it's orbit around the Earth.
NASA's Orion's space capsule will soon take its first test flight -- one of the space agency's first steps to eventually getting astronauts to Mars.
Originally scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 4, the launch was postponed because of high winds and a malfunctioning valve. Orion will now launch Friday, Dec. 5 at 7:05 a.m.
Orion will face grueling conditions during its orbit around the Earth, including cosmic radiation and speeds up to 20,000 mph.
