Police use low-frequency sound to clear the road

San Francisco has two 2008 Ford F-450s equipped with the Rumbler, the intersection clearing system that features high-output speakers and subwoofers which bounce low-frequency sound waves off buildings and vehicles. The police see it as a great tool to combat distracted drivers during emergency situations.
