Lockheed wins DOD integration contract
Lockheed Martin Federal Systems nabbed a $46 million blanket purchase agreement to provide systems integration services for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service Corporate Information Infrastructure, the company announced Thursday.

Under the two-year deal, Lockheed will update and analyze the current DCII system, coordinate services and provide central management and technical support.
The new system will enable DFAS to integrate its satellite offices, thereby enhancing the financial services the agency provides to the Defense Department. Satellite offices managed by DFAS include Management Council and Architecture Steering Group, Data Management, DFAS Corporate Database, DFAS Corporate Warehouse, DFAS Corporate Repository and DFAS Corporate Applications and Release Management.
Nine other companies will work with Lockheed to complete and maintain the DCII system. The companies include Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Services, CDI Information Services, Diverse Technologies Corp., ENSCO Inc., Intersect Technologies Inc., ManTech International Corp., Project Control Solutions, Rapidigm Inc. and Ventura Technology International Inc.
