Companies band together to sell used technology
State and local customers will be able to buy the products through various online sites
TechSmart.com Wednesday announced a partnership with StateGovCenter.com to offer pre-owned and off-lease hardware and software to all state and local agencies.
TechSmart sells and provides to resellers hardware and software including PCs, laptops and phone systems that have been replaced by newer equipment or that came off a corporate lease. The company also offers its products and services through an auction process.
State and local agency customers will be able to purchase all of the TechSmart products through Digital Commerce Corp.'s StateGovCenter.com procurement site and MyGovClub.com, an online government shopping and community resources site.
