Government-market dot-coms team up

TechSmart.com Wednesday announced a partnership with FedCenter.com to offer

pre-owned and off-lease hardware and software to federal agencies.

TechSmart sells and provides to resellers hardware and software — including

PCs, laptops and phone systems — that have been replaced by newer equipment

or that came off a corporate lease. The company also offers its products

and services through an auction process.

Federal agency customers will be able to purchase all of the TechSmart products

through Digital Commerce Corp.'s FedCenter.com procurement site and MyGovClub.com

online government shopping and community resources site.
