The Commerce Department identified 30 vendors that it plans to award a piece
of its estimated $1.5 billion Commerce Information Technology Solutions
program (Commits), which is a governmentwide contract specifically for small
businesses. Commits offers IT services in three categories: information
systems engineering, systems operations and management, and information
systems security. Some vendors were chosen for more than one category. Commerce
plans to award the contracts on Aug. 15.
