EPA planning $650M contract
Agency to release solicitation for a nine-year, $650 million systems development contract
The Environmental Protection Agency plans to release a solicitation on May 8 for a nine-year, $650 million systems development contract, said Mark Luttner, director of the EPA's Office of Information Collection.
Luttner would provide no further details other than to say that it will be a performance-based contract awarded to a single prime vendor.
However, he noted that this is a major initiative for a fairly small agency whose annual information technology budget it $450 million, he said, speaking May 1 at the Input MarketView 2003 conference.
