CSC reports 63 contracts

The company acknowledged $835 million in contracts received since the start of its fiscal second quarter, but not announced until this week.

Computer Sciences Corp.'s federal sector has received 63 contracts and subcontracts since July 1 that it has not previously announced, company officials said yesterday.

The contracts, valued at about $835 million, include 51 prime and 12 subcontracts, said CSC chief executive Van Honeycutt. The agreements range in value from $130,000 to more than $128 million and vary in length from three months to 17 years.

Civil agencies accounted for 22 awards with a total value of $465 million, while the Defense Department signed 29 of the awards with a total value of $144 million.

The company's second fiscal quarter ends today.
