McDonald Bradley added as Concorde vendor
The Drug Enforcement Administration awarded the company a deal worth up to $11.2 million to compete for task orders on the Concorde modernization.
The Drug Enforcement Administration awarded a contract to McDonald Bradley Inc. for testing configuration and change management on the Concorde modernization project.
The multiple-award contract means the company can now compete for task orders on the project. The award includes one base year and four optional years with a maximum value of $11.2 million. McDonald Bradley would support the testing requirements of the multiyear software integration project.
The testing, configuration and change management phase is one of five phases of the project, along with business process re-engineering; product deployment and help desk support; design, development and documentation; and operations and maintenance.
DEA officials have not released any task orders for the testing phase yet, but McDonald Bradley Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Bartee said he expects them soon.
McDonald Bradley has worked with the DEA for three years, providing program management office support, the company said. The company has also worked with the DEA on several projects over the past nine years.
"I think our testing capability is one of our strongest core competencies," Bartee said. The company has their own process called Quality through Validation or QV2, which Bartee said has proven successful with other agencies.
