Enforcement Revenue Information System
The Internal Revenue Service awarded Apogen Technologies the Enforcement Revenue Information System (ERIS) maintenance and customer support contract, the company announced today.
ERIS gathers data from across the IRS, collecting information about enforcement revenue and the associated costs. It processes more than 3 billion transactions and generates more than 105 million summary records annually. The system tracks a case from start to finish, incorporating information from various enforcement functions.
ERIS allows the IRS to report revenue and cost information to its overseers, the Treasury Department, the Office of Management and Budget, the Government Accountability Office and Congress.
Apogen provides technology solutions to government agencies.
The company will support and maintain the IRS Enforcement Revenue Division for ERIS software releases and the extraction and analysis of data. The award is worth more than $6 million with one base year and four option years.
“Apogen has over 14 years of experience with the IRS, and this win recognizes not only our understanding of the customer’s mission but also our capabilities in providing system life cycle work for a large, data-driven system,” said Tim Green, group vice president and general manager of Apogen’s Federal Civilian Division.
