GSA taps 40-plus firms for VETS deal
The five-year contract, set aside for serviced-disabled, veteran-owned business, has a $5 billion ceiling.
The wait is over for 44 companies that received contracts under the General Services Administration’s Veterans Technology Services governmentwide acquisition contract.
The vehicle, known as VETS, has missed deadlines amid bureaucratic and legal obstacles. The procurement started more than a year ago. VETS has a $5 billion ceiling and is reserved for serviced-disabled, veteran-owned contractors.
The GWAC has two functional areas: systems operation and maintenance and information systems engineering. Vendors could bid on either or both areas.
