Three companies protest Alliant awards

STG, Stanley Associates and the Centech Group are protesting GSA's contract awards.

Three companies have filed bid protests against the General Services Administration’s $50 billion Alliant contract, according to the Government Accountability Office. STG filed its protest Aug. 24, while Stanley Associates and the Centech Group filed Aug. 27. A decision by GAO to deny or accept the protests could come as late as early December. Alliant is a five-year contract with one five-year option and a ceiling of $50 billion. Agencies can use the contract to buy information technology applications, infrastructure and services. GSA awarded the IT contract to 29 vendors July 31.
