IRS taps SAIC for data management, security

The company will provide IT support under a $10 million task order awarded under GSA's Millennia Lite governmentwide acquisition contract.

The Internal Revenue Service will get help with processing data and managing security from Science Applications International Corp. under a new task order from the General Services Administration.


The single-award, time-and-materials task order has a one-year base and two one-year options for a total value of more than $10 million.


SAIC will provide information technology support for IRS computer systems at the Enterprise Computing Center in Memphis. Those services include data production, communications and security management, systems acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and systems monitoring and analysis.


The follow-on task order was awarded under GSA’s Millennia Lite governmentwide acquisition contract.
