Letter: Who will oversee HUBZone requirements?
A reader writes to ask who will oversee HUBZone requirements when Lockheed Martin can qualify as a small business.
Regarding "HUBZone firms get preference for set-asides"
Who within the federal world will oversee the residence requirements of HUBZone companies? HUBZone companies can easily be just an address in the required area but the employees must also live within the area.
Who is going to oversee that part when we currently have companies like Lockheed Martin getting contracts as small businesses ($32 billion-plus in sales), 8a and SDVOSB will have to take up office space just to meet that requriemnt or begin protesting those awards that place Hub Zones ahead of all others?
