ITAA plans merger, name change
The technology trade group is merging with another association and changing its name on New Year's Day.
On New Year's Day, the Information Technology Association of America
will have a new name. As a result of the trade association's merger
with the American Electronics Association, the combined new entity will
become the Technology Association of America.
A spokesman for ITAA said the merger is scheduled to close Jan. 1.
