George J. Pedersen
CEO and Chairman
ManTech International
In 2010, George Pedersen led ManTech through three mergers and acquisitions that expanded the company’s cybersecurity and command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance federal government offerings.
The company also had a 25 percent organic growth last year to more than 10,000 employees in 40 countries. Former Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.) has called the rise of ManTech from a two-person start-up in 1968 “a true entrepreneurial success story.”
Pedersen also holds leadership positions in a number of industry organizations. He is a member of the executive committee of the National Defense Industrial Association and vice chairman of its Education and Lobbying Committee.
