GSA extends OASIS deadlines
Bidders will have another month to prepare proposals.
GSA has made several changes to its $60 billion One Acquisition Solutions for Integrated Services multiple award contracts, including a deadline extension of nearly a month for proposals.
Amendments posted by GSA on Sept. 10 said proposals for the multiple award contract vehicles that had been due Sept. 17 now have until almost mid -October. The deadline for proposals for both the unrestricted and the small business portions of the program is now 4 p.m. Oct. 10.
A GSA spokeswoman said the extension was made to give companies more time to prepare their bids because of changes to the past-performance requirements.
Also in the Sept. 10 filing, the agency changed the number of past-performance examples that potential vendors have to submit with their proposals from five to three.
"The decision to reduce the number of required past performance examples … was made after careful consideration of feedback from the small business community on this matter," a GSA spokesperson. "Based upon this change, GSA felt it only fair to provide some additional time for interested parties to prepare their offers for OASIS-SB and OASIS."
