Labor picks Sabre Systems for app development
The Labor Department has picked Sabre Systems to provide IT application development services to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Office of Prices and Living Conditions, the company said June 12.
Under the task order, potentially worth $22.4 million, the firm will conduct software design, requirements analysis and statistical application development, among other tasks.
Army extends IT hardware contract
The Army has added another year to its contract for IT hardware, software and related services by awarding a $652 million modification to the six incumbent contractors, Defense Systems reports.
Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Hardware covers the range of computing hardware, from servers and workstations to PCs, laptops and thin clients, along with the software and service for those devices.
