Final hours for Federal 100 nominations

Happy new year!  Before you close the books on 2017 entirely, however, be sure you've submitted your Federal 100 Award nominations for the women and men who did great things for federal IT last year. 

To do that, you'll need to move quickly -- all nominations must be received by Noon ET on Wednesday, Jan. 3. So if you set yours aside for the holidays, or simply like to wait until the last possible moment, it's time to get moving!

All nominations must be made online.  The details at FCW.com/2018fed100, but here's one last recap of what it takes to make the Federal 100:

1. Anyone in the federal IT community is eligible.
2. The award is for individual accomplishments in 2017.
3. Federal 100 winners go above and beyond -- whatever their level or rank. A fancy job title is not required, and just doing one's job well is not enough.
4. Impact matters. The judges need to know not only what a nominee did, but also what all that work accomplished.

If you know individuals whose talents, leadership and dedication are making federal IT better, please be sure they have the opportunity to receive the recognition they deserve. Nominate them by noon ET on Jan. 3.
