CISA changes plan for operations support recompete

The Homeland Security Department's cyber agency goes in a different direction for how it plans to award this upcoming task order.
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has modified its plan for conducting the recompete of a task order to acquire operational support and other professional services.
CISA will now award the five-year Cybsersecurity Division Operational Support Services pact to one company, which represents a departure from the original intent of a multiple-award selection.
A solicitation is due by May 31 with the award anticipated for the fourth quarter of calendar year 2025, CISA said in a Monday notice to the Homeland Security Department's Acquisition Planning Forecast System.
Like with its current iteration, CISA will lean on the government-wide OASIS professional services vehicle to award the work. The recompete currently has an estimated ceiling value of $50 million-to-$100 million for requirements such as project management, policy and strategy support, and broad technical assistance services.
Deloitte won the incumbent task order in June 2021 at a ceiling value of $75 million with March 28, 2024, as the current expiration date, according to GovTribe data.
