Federal agencies have been pushing hard on efforts to update aging IT infrastructure through two administrations now, with mixed results. But as agencies look ahead to the rest of 2019, the table is set to promote modernization efforts like never before.
“Last year you heard me talk a lot about updating policies. The reason we did that was to get rid of the barriers and unlock the ability for agencies to aggressively pursue” digital transformation, federal Chief Information Officer Suzette Kent said in March.
