Coast Guard awards contract for info-sharing
AlphaInsight Corp. wins a $4.4 million contract to help create a Web portal to share intelligence.
The U.S. Coast Guard has awarded AlphaInsight Corp. a $4.4 million contract to provide information technology support services for the Coast Guard’s intelligence operations, company officials announced Friday.
AlphaInsight will work with the assistant commandant for Intelligence to create a Web portal to improve information sharing and data fusion, company officials said.
AlphaInsight will also improve the Maritime Awareness Information Global Network (MAGNET), an information-sharing network between the Guard’s operational and law enforcement elements and those of other agencies, company officials said.
