Monster uses e-Authentication to make USAJobs more secure

It will help secure the site and allow recruiters easier access to the features through a secure log-in.

Monster Government Solutions has made the USAJobs Web site more secure through e-Authentication, the company announced May 3. The e-Authentication initiative will help secure the site and allow recruiters easier access to the features through a secure log-in.

“Implementing e-Authentication for USAJobs is a major milestone because it increases the overall security of the site, while also making it more convenient for government recruiters by utilizing a universal sign on,” said Dan DeMaioNewton, director of consulting services at Monster and program manager for USAJobs. “We’re proud to have helped position USAJobs at the forefront of e-Authentication and facilitate integration across e-government initiatives as we administer USAJobs under the Recruitment One-Stop program.”

The site will be one of the first federal Web sites to apply the initiative. USAJobs is the Office of Personnel Management’s job search and recruitment Web site, which Monster runs.

Monster previously helped set up an integrated search engine for the site, which allows users to sort and filter jobs from 90 agencies. The New York-based company also runs Students.gov, a career information portal and companion to USAJobs that focuses on students from high school through graduate school. Monster currently has a five-year, $27.1 million contract through OPM to run both sites and to provide online and phone support.
