Del Greco has the respect of her peers for her subject-matter knowledge, but what sets her apart is her ability to forge agreement among diverse stakeholders. She has been a leader in identity management and interoperability on several interagency committees, including panels involving the National Counterterrorism Center and the National Science and Technology Council.

She is the FBI representative to a global Interpol automated fingerprinting expert group, and she is helping the bureau develop its Next Generation Identification system and expand the capabilities of its Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System.

“Kim really understands that success requires communication, cooperation and collaboration,” said David Loesch, former assistant director of the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division. “One thing that always impressed me about Kim was her sincerity and honesty in dealing with others, showing respect for their ideas and opinions. It has given her an incredible ability to gain trust and build consensus.”
