The event is one of many on an interactive map compiled by the publication as part of a special cybersecurity report. The graphic pinpoints attacks in various countries worldwide and identifies the attack date and type and, where possible, the hacker's identity and origin. The incidents are color-coded as low, medium or high.
The map is interesting not only because it's fun to navigate--yep, it's Friday--but also because it highlights the areas in which these attacks generally occur. The United States tops the charts at 33 incidents, but Japan, Taiwan, India and the United Kingdom also have seen multiple attacks.
