That saucy page on MySpace or YouTube could derail a future spook job, according to an inhouse study conducted for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence -- and unearthed last week by the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
The 2008 study did some simple Internet name searches, combined with address and Social Security numbers, and came up with a lot of damaging info folks have let leak onto the 'Net, including material such as disclosure of "underage drinking, profanity, extreme religious and/or political views."
When the ODNI investigators turned to social networking sights, they discovered even more adverse information, including "overly descriptive posting of personal or work information as well as references to or pictures depicting illegal drug use," EFF said.
