John Hillen has been the prime mover behind Global Defense Technology and Systems’ transformation into a collaborative partner in tackling the nation’s most critical counterterrorism and cybersecurity priorities.

Under his leadership, GTEC has significantly expanded its business development pipeline while adding two significant cybersecurity acquisitions — Zytel and Signature Government Solutions — in 2010.

Away from the office, Hillen’s commitment to the IT industry is exemplified by his participation on numerous advisory committees and boards, including the Chief of Naval Operations Executive Panel and the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Professional Services Council.
