The impact: McCormack’s work will reduce costs and speed development times for future IT applications.

The nuts and bolts: McCormack targeted seven areas in which to enhance ICE’s IT operations. They included streamlining governance, adopting more flexible budget models and introducing dynamic workforce management. By creating four centers of excellence and executive steering committees within the agency, he ensured that ICE has a solid foundation for responding to future IT needs.
