User accounts compromised

Tel Aviv police twitter account hacked. Attackers wrote message, “Hacked By H3LM! .... We Are Fallaga :) pic.twitter.com/Q9hmnwDD” Unclear whether hackers used brute force attacks (I.e. entering all possible password combinations until access is granted.) or malicious software to gain access to the Tel Aviv twitter account.
