Crytek games out-of-service for at least one weekend
Entertainment // Germany
The German entertainment company disclosed a discovery of “suspicious activity” on some of its websites and took down the sites “for security reasons,” according to a stand-in message on Crytek’s still-dark homepage.
AOL’s Joystik reports that the breach might have resulted in some users' login data being compromised.
On Aug. 2, “we started to contact all affected users via email and informed them of the potential security breach,” Crytek officials stated.
The sites affected stored no user payment information, according to the company.
