Syrian Electronic Army takes on the Sun and Sunday Times

For a short bit, the websites of the two News UK-owned newspapers bore the message: “Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army; Stop Publishing fake reports and false articles about Syria!; UK government is supporting the terrorists in Syria to destroy it, Stop spreading the propaganda.”
The company cleaned up the vandalism within 20 minutes.
A News UK spokesman said its digital team mobilized quickly, “shutting the technical window to prevent the attack continuing,” according to the Guardian.
At one point, The (real) Sun tweeted: "Our website is currently being hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army. To keep reading the real story about Syria, buy The Sun tomorrow..."
And then the paper published a follow-up tweet: "Good news! Our website is back up and running, which means business as usual. Kim Kardashian’s racy pics, anyone?" [She appears on today's Page 3 in a see-through top].
Meanwhile, the pro-regime Syrian hackers took to Twitter to promote the breach.
