Hello 911? I stole a phone and the victim is running after me

When a 20-year-old woman called the cops to complain about a man following her, they arrived to find the woman, a mauled man, a phone-shaped lump on the woman and cocaine.

The woman told authorities the man woke her up while she was taking a nap on a bus, accused her of stealing his cellphone and attacked her as she ran from the bus.

The man’s story was a bit different.

He told police he was sitting on the bus with his eyes closed when suddenly the music he was listening to stopped. When he opened his eyes, the woman and her male companion had his phone.

They punched and kicked him in the head, after the man asked for his phone back.

The couple ran off the bus and he followed them. Then the woman stopped to call 911. Her companion kept on running.

The woman continued to deny she stole a mobile device “until officers noticed a phone-shaped bulge in her pocket,” Komo News reports. “Officers reportedly found both the victim's phone and three grams of crack on the suspect.”
