Data Heist at 50 Oil Companies in Norway

The breach was the largest in the country’s history and might have affected an additional 250 oil and energy firms.
Statoil, the biggest Norwegian oil company, was targeted and received a warning from the National Security Authority, Norway’s counter-hack unit.
The authority said that “international contacts” alerted Norway to the cyber assault. “The agency have suspicions as to who is behind the attack, but don't want to make such information public at this time,” The Local reports.
