Crayola’s Facebook Page Tries out Some New Shades of Grey

Manufacturing // Social Media

A social media account belonging to the crayon company, a model of innocence if there ever was one, was hacked by unknown perverts who posted racy links to R-rated websites for a day.

While most of the images are playful — containing dirty drawings and innuendo—some are downright NSFW. See Adweek’s collage.

Crayola eventually regained control of the page and tweeted this message:

“We don't condone the inappropriate & offensive content being posted to the fraudulent Crayola FB page & sincerely apologize to our fans.”
