Video: Understanding Obama's Cyber Legacy
Remembering the good, the bad and the ugly.
When it comes to cybersecurity and the government, the last eight years had a lot of good... and bad.
The Obama administration spent a lot of time building up and strengthening cyber policy and working with the private sector, but it didn't always pay off, according to Nextgov's own Joseph Marks, who sat down with "Government Matters" to discuss Obama's cyber legacy.
"It's very difficult to say it was an unvarnished success because there was breach, after breach, after breach at the White House, the State Department, the Office of Personnel Management, which affected almost everyone in this town," Marks said. "The threats seemed to develop faster than the administration was capable of responding to."
