This Windows Feature Lets You Step Away From Your Computer Without Worry
We could all use an added security boost.
Leaving your computer unattended can be a major security risk, no matter where you are. Because logging out or closing down your laptop can be a pain for every bathroom break and coffee run, Windows 10 now offers a solution.
Known as Dynamic Lock, the computer will be able to lock when a user walks away and unlock when he or she comes back in front of the screen. The software does this in two different ways.
The computer can either sense your smartphone device via Bluetooth pairing or the computer with an infrared camera can use facial recognition to determine if you're there or you've stepped away.
