MicroAge late last month was awarded its first General Services Administration Schedule B/C pact.
The Torrance, Calif.-based company is offering its own line of Patriot Computers, which are built-to-order PCs and notebooks.
Other Companies' Wares Available
The company also is offering products on its schedule from companies such as Caere Corp., Creative Labs, Exabyte Corp., Iomega, Eastman Kodak Co., Lexmark International Inc. and Xerox Corp. MicroAge offers free shipping to federal facilities in all 50 states.
MicroAge's schedule pact, GS-35F-4188D, runs from June 26 through March 1999. The company is a woman-owned small business.
William C. Vasilion, vice president of MicroAge, said the government market represents about 70 percent of the company's business. The new schedule award will boost that percentage, he added.
