Lockheed Martin Wins $50 Million L.A. Parking Violations Deal

Los Angeles' Department of Transportation awarded Lockheed Martin IMS (Teaneck, N.J.) a five-year contract to operate the city's Parking Violations Bureau. The contract extends a 12-year arrangement between the city and its contractor that tasks Lockheed Martin with processing and collecting all operations performed by the parking bureau. Under the new deal, Lockheed Martin will provide the city with geographic information systems and advanced automated payment technologies, a company spokesman said.
