Indiana WIC Awards $3.5 million contract

The Indiana State Department of Health awarded Wang Government Services of Billerica, Mass., a contract to provide an automated food delivery payment and management information system for the state's Women, Infantand Children (WIC) program.

Wang will port a system developed from the company's experience withother WIC customers, including the states of Alaska, Nebraska, New Mexico and the territory of Guam. Wang also developed the WIC Indian Networking Data System for the Indian Nations WIC program.

Indiana's system will provide benefits to more than 134,000 state recipients.
