Anthony Valletta, acting assistant secretary of Defense for command, control communications and intelligence (ASD/C3I), plans to join SRA International Inc. as a vice president in federal systems after he retires this week, Federal Computer Week has learned.
Valletta has held down the Defense Department's top command and control slot since the retirement of Emmett Paige last year. The Pentagon plans to name Art Money, an assistant secretary of the Asian force, to the newly created assistant secretary of Defense for information operations post. Valletta plans to begin work at SRA April 13.
Before moving to ASD/C3I, Valetta served as the Army's vice director for command, control, communications and computers, and prior to that he was the program manager for the Standard Army Management Information Systems.
