Ron Hack, director of the Office of Systems and Telecommunications Management at the Commerce Department, was selected last month as chairman of the Interagency Management Council.
The IMC, which is composed of telecommunications executives representing agencies throughout the federal government, advises the General Services Administration, the Office of Management and Budget and other organizations on how to develop policy and procurements to best meet the government's telecom requirements.
Hack replaced Frank Lalley, associate deputy assistant secretary for telecommunications at the Department of Veterans Affairs, whose one-year term had expired.
Lalley will move to a new job March 16 to serve as director of the Office of Service Delivery at GSA's Federal Technology Service. That position was previously held by Sandy Bates, who is now the deputy commissioner of FTS.

Retired Army Col. Bobby Adams has been named director of CACI International Inc.'s Training Simulation Division in Orlando, Fla. Before retiring from the Army, Adams served with the Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command and the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.
