Rand joins Lucent
The Defense Department today announced a series of nominations to fill some of its top information technology management slots.
Cynthia Rand, former principal director for information management at the Defense Department, this month began a new job as one of two business development directors for civilian agencies at Lucent Technologies Inc. Rand began work at Lucent on May 4. Rand left the Pentagon earlier this year as part of a DOD buyout.
