IAC elects new board members

The Industry Advisory Council, a group of private companies that sell information technology products and services to the federal government and a member council of the Federation of Government Information Processing Councils, this week announced its new executive board members, who will take office July 1.

The Industry Advisory Council, a group of private companies that sell information technology products and services to the federal government and a member council of the Federation of Government Information Processing Councils, this week announced its new executive board members, who will take office July 1.

Bob Golas, director of business development for civilian agencies at Oracle Corp., was elected IAC chairman. Bob Woods, president and chief operating officer of Federal Sources Inc., will serve as the council's Washington, D.C., vice chairman, and Jim Obendorfer, a consultant at IBM Corp., will be the council's national vice chairman.

The other newly elected board members include Crouse Powell, director of business development at Federal Data Corp., elected secretary; Linda Martin, vice president for business development at the Council for Electronic Government, elected treasurer; and Bob Lohfeld, senior vice president at OAO Corp., elected program chair.The board was elected by IAC members.
