The General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service last week awarded its $25 billion information technology services and support contract to 10 vendors.

The Federal Information System Support Program Generation VII Applications 'N' Support for Widely Diverse End-user Requirements (ANSWER) contract -- formerly called the worldwide Information Technology Support contract -- is a nonmandatory, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for a two-year base period with eight one-year options.

The winning vendors include Anteon Corp., Booz-Allen & Hamilton Inc., Computer Sciences Corp., DynCorp, EER Systems Inc., Information Systems Support Inc., ITS Corp., Litton/PRC Inc., Logicon Inc. and Science Applications International Corp.
