NASIRE Retains Mid-Year Conference Model

NASIRE's leadership reportedly considered changing the spring meeting into a CIO roundtable discussion at a fixed location. However, members had a "change of heart" and decided to keep things as they are because attendance at the mid-year conference has been high. Also, states like the public relations value of hosting their colleagues, according to NASIRE staff.
NASIRE's last spring conference, held in Seattle in March, drew just more than 250 attendees from 38 states. The next scheduled meeting is NASIRE's annual conference in Indianapolis Oct. 24-27.
