U.S. Commerce Department Holds 'Human Factors&the Web' Conference

Interested in making your World Wide Web site more appealing to humans? The U.S. Commerce Department's National Institute of Standards and Technology next Thursday will host its fifth conference in a series on "Human Factors and the Web."
On the roster are representatives from AT& T Labs, Oracle Corp., the National Association of Securities Dealers Inc. and Bell Atlantic Corp.
The goal is to expose attendees to "a community of human factors engineers, designers and developers who are interested in producing Web sites that are more useful and usable," according to a posting at zing.ncsl.nist.gov/hfweb/.
