Congressmen to Kick Off First Virginia Internet Technology Week Meeting
The Internet Technology Innovation Center said Reps. Rick Boucher (DVa.) and Robert Goodlatte (RVa.), cochairmen of the Internet Caucus in the House of Representatives, will address the firstever Virginia Internet Technology Week on Sept. 13, the opening day of the conference.
The Internet Technology Innovation Center said Reps. Rick Boucher (D-Va.) and Robert Goodlatte (R-Va.), co-chairmen of the Internet Caucus in the House of Representatives, will address the first-ever Virginia Internet Technology Week on Sept. 13, the opening day of the conference.
Boucher and Goodlatte will address Internet economic development opportunities and current federal legislation at the conference, which will be held at Virginia Tech.
Other topics and presentations include the following: creating user-friendly World Wide Web sites and software; responding to security and privacy concerns; and predicting the impact and opportunities of the next generation of the Internet.
