Justice nabs hacker of Army computers

The Justice Department on Monday announced it had arrested the teenage founder of a hacker group that allegedly broke into and modified an Army World Wide Web site in June.

The FBI arrested Chad Davis, 19, of Green Bay, Wis., for allegedly accessing the Army Web server at the Pentagon and modifying its contents. He also is alleged to have accessed an unclassified Army network to remove and modify its log files to keep administrators from detecting his actions.

Davis, also known as "Mindphasr," is a founder of the hacking group Global Hell or "GH." The arrest came after a joint investigation by the FBI and the Army Criminal Investigation Command.
