DOT releases Y2K resource guide

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) released a Year 2000 resource guide last week to help state and local governments develop plans to ensure that their transportation systems keep running when the new year begins.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) released a Year 2000 resource guide last week to help state and local governments develop plans to ensure that their transportation systems keep running when the new year begins.

"Are You Ready? Managing Transportation Resources Through the Y2K Weekend" is the product of a workshop DOT and Public Technology Inc. conducted with 20 state and local transportation officials on developing Year 2000 management plans.
