The Social Security Administration has awarded a three-year contract to Enterprise Training Solutions (ETS) to supply intranet-based sexual harassment awareness training to all of the agency's 65,000 employees.

The Ardsley, N.Y.-based company will provide training content developed by SkillSoft Corp., which produces World Wide Web-based professional development training curricula in areas including management leadership, team building and diversity. The online courseware will be made available over an agencywide intranet, enabling SSA employees to access the sexual harassment awareness training from their desktops.

SSA purchased the solution, which cost less than $100,000, at end of the fiscal year and was scheduled to begin rolling it out by the end of October, said Michael Venuti, vice president of government sales at ETS.

SSA officials could not be reached for comment.
